Dnes rano Lukasek utrzil svuj prvni sram. Zvedal ze zeme hracku, ztratil rovnovahu a upadl na hranu knihovny. Nastesti si jenom rozsekl kuzi u oka a jinak je v poradku. Nas maly kaskader...

Kanadske obcanstvi

Dnes jsem se oficialne stala obcankou Kanady. V cervnu jsem si podala zadost, v zari sla na test a dnes v 9:40 rano jsem slozila slavnostni prisahu. V anglictine i francouzstine. V anglictine jsem to jeste zvladla opakovat po pani soudkyni, ale ve francouzstine jsem tam neco mumlala a s ulevou koukala, ze je na tom tech asi 70 lidi, co skladali prisahu se mnou, uplne stejne. Tady je pro zajimavost ta prisaha:

Today I officially became a Canadian citizen. I submitted my application in June, wrote the test in September and today at 9:40 a.m., I took the citizenship oath. In English and in French. I managed to repeat the words after the judge in English, but I was totally lost in French and just made up some silly words to resemble a bit the official version. To my relief, about everybody in the room, that is the 70 something people that were taking the oath with me, was doing the same. The text of the oath is above.

Jeste pred par tydny se Lukasek doma strasne nudil a tak jsme s nim travili vetsinu casu po parcich v nasi ctvrti. Ted si uz umi hrat i doma. Nejradeji leze po nocniku a nebo telefonuje s maminkou.

Just a few weeks ago, Lucky was terribly bored at home and we spent most of our days outside in the parks in our neighbourhood. Now he can play at home as well. He loves to climb up his potty or is on the phone with Mom.

Lucky tries on his elephant costume, hates it, screams and is promptly taken out of it. The costume is now worn by our teddy Misa and the only Halloweenish thing left behind is this picture.
